Although I never met Rupert, I have a few words I'd like to say. Dear Rupert, your life was one that was short and hard, but a good life nonetheless. Although you became a real-life Bambi, after your mother was struck and killed by a motorist, you were born too early but still wanted and loved by the fine folks at the Tiggywinkles Wildlife Hospital. Oh Rupert! Although your stay on the world was brief, I hope wherever you are, you are with your mother and graze for all time.
